LABORATORY SERVICES

We have an on-site lab available for our patients. Our lab is open daily, Monday through Friday. We are able to run many lab tests here; however, some may need to be sent to an outside laboratory. There will be additional charges for this service. It is the patient’s responsibility to inform us if their insurance company requires use of a specific lab.

If you have a fasting lab appointment scheduled, here are your directions for fasting.

You should not eat or drink anything other than small sips of water for 12 hours prior to your labs being drawn. You should delay taking your morning medication until the blood has been drawn. In some instances, your provider may have ordered a urine specimen to be tested. The best results are from a specimen given after your arrival to the lab. Please be prepared to give a specimen while you are here. If you have any specific questions about your lab tests, please refer them to your provider. Thank you.
