Respiratory Illness Office Policies

UPDATED February 26, 2026

Masking is optional at EFP. Anyone entering the building who currently has symptoms that could be contagious may be asked to wear a mask while at EFP.

After you arrive and check in, you have the option of waiting in your car if you prefer. Please let us know if you wish to do this or if you are experiencing contagious symptoms. We will call you back in when a room is available.

Virtual video visits are available and may be recommended to protect your health and safety, as well as that of our staff, providers, and other patients. Please note that some medical care cannot be completed via virtual visit. In these cases, your provider will evaluate your individual needs and may recommend an in-office visit.

In accordance with medical guidelines, we continue to recommend that children complete their immunization schedules on time.

EFP provides testing for Covid, flu, RSV, and strep. Please check with your health insurance company for their latest rules on payment. Most insurers require a copayment, deductible, or coinsurance for testing. You will be billed for services as required by your insurance plan.
